From 10–16 November 2025, communities across Portugal will unite for the first national “Semana do Mar Sem Plástico” (Week of the Ocean Without Plastic). This initiative brings together citizens, schools, businesses, and Rotary Clubs with one shared goal:
reduce plastic pollution and protect our oceans.
Throughout the week, dozens of local events will take place—from beach clean-ups and creative workshops to talks, exhibitions, and classroom projects. Each activity contributes to raising awareness and inspiring change.
