From school workshops to beach cleanups, from bar fundraisers to creative flash mobs, every activity that raises awareness and reduces plastic pollution is a powerful part of our shared wave of action.
What qualifies as an activity?
Anything that supports one or more of these goals:
- Reducing single-use plastic
- Cleaning rivers, beaches, forests, or urban areas
- Educating others about the problem and solutions
- Creating art, talks, or events around ocean protection
- Engaging the public in new ways
You don’t have to be an expert or an organization — anyone can contribute.
How to register your activity
Fill in the short form below with:
- A title and short description of your event
- The date, time, and location
- The number of people you expect
- Your contact info (so we can reach you if needed)
Once approved, your activity will:
Appear on our interactive map
- Be counted toward our live volunteer ticker
- Be showcased as part of Semana do Mar – Portugal (10–16 November 2025)
- Let’s show the world how strong a single wave can become.
